These are called taper gauges only because of their shape - they do not measure tapers. They are ideally suited for the rapid accurate checking of the inside diameters of tubing, slot widths, hole sizes, setting calipers etc. Manufactured from spring tempered steel. 0.1mm increments. Rustless. Constant at 20°C. Satin chrome anti glare finish. Permanent black figures and graduations.

Plain Type Depth Gauge
Designed for measuring flat based recesses. Consisting of a precision ground steel rule and body which are positioned at 90° to each other. The body has precision ground locating faces, with a knurled adjusting/securing nut.

Protractor Type Depth & Angle Gauge
Ground steel with graduations from 0° - 180° in both directions for fast and accurate measurements. When the rule is positioned to 90° on the protractor it then provides accurate measurements of depth.

This plain type depth gauge consists of a precision ground steel rule, and a body. They are positioned at 90° to each other for easy, reliable use. The body has precision ground locating faces, with a knurled adjusting/securing nut.

Plain Type Depth Gauge

6"/150mm PLAIN TYPE DEPTH GAUGE

made from ground steel with graduations from 0° - 180° in both directions for fast and accurate measurements, the Kennedy protractor depth and angle gauge provides accurate measurements of depth when the rule is positioned to 90° on the protractor.

Protractor Type Depth & Angle Gauge

6"/150mm PROTRACTOR TYPE DEPTH GAUGE

Ideal for measuring slots, holes, grooves and recesses. The satin finished knurled handle allows fine adjustment of the gauge within the workpiece. The split ball contacts are hardened for greater accuracy and longer tool life. Use in conjunction with a micrometer to accurately measure internal dimensions. Supplied in plastic storage wallet.

Size A: 3 to 5mm (1/8" to 13/64") - 90mm overall length,
Size B: 5 to 7.5mm (13/64" to 19/64") - 99mm overall length,
Size C: 7.5 to 10mm (19/64" to 25/64") - 110mm overall length
Size D: 10 to 13mm (25/64" to 1/2") - 110mm overall length.
For holes, slots and recesses beyond the range of the small hole gauges use Kennedy Telescopic Gauges.
